ZimCompany answers on WhatsApp and by email, Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00 Harare time (CAT, UTC+2). Zimbabwe does not change its clocks, so South Africa, Zambia and Botswana share our working day, the Emirates run two hours ahead, Britain is one or two hours behind, and Australia is six to ten hours ahead.

When we are at our desks

We work Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00 Harare time (CAT, UTC+2). Zimbabwe does not change its clocks.

South Africa, Zambia and Botswana are on the same clock as us. The United Arab Emirates is two hours ahead, all year. Britain is one hour behind in summer and two in winter. Perth is six hours ahead, and Melbourne and Sydney are eight or ten hours ahead depending on the season, so Australian messages sent in the evening are answered before the next morning.

Which route to use

WhatsApp. The fastest route, and a voice note is fine, in English or Shona. This is the shared Lioncap line for now and the brand gets its own number at launch.
Email. Better for documents, and it leaves you a written trail of what was agreed. We answer within the working day, Harare time.
The questionnaire. If you already know roughly what you want, twelve questions produce a recommended vehicle, a price and a document list without anyone having to type an introduction.
